Recycle your
electronics
Got old electronics
you wish to recycle? The
Rotary Club will provide
you an opportunity, on
Sat Apr 9.
“We’ll take anything
with a cord” is the slogan
for the collection, which
will benefit PAR-Recycle
Works of Philadelphia.
The event will take
place behind the
Borough Hall. Just drive
up and unload your
“anything” (desktop and
laptop computers, TVs,
cellphones, audio
equipment, kitchen
appliances, vacuums)
between 10am and 12n.
PAR recycles the
valuable components,
shreds the rest, and uses
the profits to reduce
recidivism by employing
and supporting those
formerly incarcerated.
It’s in the bag
Representatives
of the Partnership
for Haddonfield and
the Environmental
Commission will give
away 500 Haddonfieldbranded
reusable
shopping bags in Kings
Court, Fri Apr 22 from
12n to 5pm.
The giveaway is part
of a campaign to
increase community
awareness of the
statewide plastic bag
ban that will go into
effect on Wed May 4.
Those who shop and
dine in Haddonfield are
encouraged to “Bag
Up” by bringing their
reusable Haddonfield
shopping bags when
they visit the downtown.
