Tech help for seniors
Beginning in April – on the first and third Tuesdays – Public Library staff
will be at the Mabel Kay Senior Center from 11am to 12n to help seniors tackle
technology challenges. Interested seniors may sign-up for one-on-one, half-hour
sessions (four sessions per day) here: surveymonkey.com/r/youngerseniors or
scan the QR code n in the margin.
When you sign up, you will be asked to describe the kind of help you need
and specify the device you use (cell phone, tablet, laptop, for example), so the
instructors can be better prepared to answer your questions.
To scan the QR code, open the camera on your phone and aim the camera at
the QR code. Your phone should offer you the option to open a link. Press your
finger on the link and it will take you directly to the sign-up site.
