Go out to the ballgame: 4/1
Fri Apr 1 will be Baseball Night in Haddonfield, an event designed to mark
the opening of the 2022 Little League season and to celebrate the town.
The agenda includes pre-game activities from 4:45 to 6:15pm; food trucks
from 5 to 9pm; skills competition at 5:15pm; gear sale; DJ Marty; and snack bar.
Beginning on Field 1 at 6:30pm, the opening ceremony will include team
announcements and player introductions for Game 1.
The First Pitch ceremony at 6:55pm will be followed by the National Anthem
and “Play Ball!” at 7:05pm. The 50/50 raffle will be drawn at the top of the third.
Little League baseball has been played in Haddonfield for more than 50
years. Opening Night introduces the younger generation of players to the
league’s traditions and previews the fun and excitement that come from playing
the game.
The Little League invites all to “come on out to the ballgame.”
