Celebrate the Earth, learn about sustainability
The Environmental Commission and Sustainable Haddonfield invite all
residents to visit Kings Court on Sat Apr 23 – 10am to 4pm – to learn about
Borough and business programs related to the environment, sustainability, and
technology, including:
• The NJ Plastic Ban law (in effect on Wed May 4) and reusable bag giveaway.
• Stormwater management and the Borough’s proposed Rain Barrel program.
• The Public Library’s new Technology Room. See demos of some cool stuff!
Local businesses will be on hand to promote sustainable products and
practices.
Also, those attending will be invited to play the Recycling Game, a fun way to
learn about which materials should be recycled and which should go to the in
the trash.
