Teknik tekstiller ve sürdürülebilirlik
Medikal tekstillerden otomotiv sektörüne, savunma sanayiden jeotekstil ürünlerine,
kompozit malzemelerden akıllı tekstillere kadar çok geniş bir alanda hayatımızda
yer alan teknik tekstiller, önemini her geçen gün artırıyor. Dünyada, akıllı ve teknolojik
tekstiller alanı hem pazar, hem de tüketim olarak hızla gelişerek yeni bir rekabet
alanı olarak ortaya çıkıyor. Teknik tekstil sektörü nanoteknolojik, kirlenmeyen, nefes
alan, ısı tutan tekstil ürünleri üretmenin yanında; otomotiv tekstilleri, inşaat, tarım gibi
alanlarda da diğer sektörlere kolaylaştırıcı çözümler sunuyor. Sektör, yeni ürünlerin
keşfi, yeni ihtiyaçları karşılaması ve geleneksel ürün ve malzemelerin yerine ikame
edilmesi nedeniyle, büyük potansiyel arz etmektedir. Teknik tekstiller artık sadece
birkaç gelişmiş ülkenin endüstrisi değil, küresel bir endüstri haline gelmiştir.
Teknik tekstillerdeki en son gelişmeler Almanya’da görücüye çıktı. Almanya’da
düzenlenen Techtextil, Texprocess ve Heimtextil Summer Special, ticaret fuarları
da hem katılımcılar, hem de ziyaretçiler açısından pandemi öncesi uluslararası
seviyelerini korudu. Techtextil ve Texprocess’te, sürdürülebilir malzeme ve işleme
teknolojileri, otomasyon ve dijital süreçlerin yanı sıra yenilikler ve ilerici yeni gelişmeler,
katılımcı ürün yelpazesinde sunuldu. Fuarda yer alan katılımcılar da yeni
ürünlerini uluslararası alanda sergileme fırsatı buldu. Otomasyon, sürdürülebilirlik
ve esneklik, fuarda en önemli anahtar kelimeler olarak yer aldı.

Tekstil ve konfeksiyon sektörlerinde sürdürülebilirlik ve sosyal uygunluk konuları son zamanlarda
büyük bir ivme kazandı. Azalan doğal kaynaklar, artan dünya nüfusu, kaynakların
etkin kullanımını tüm sanayi kollarında önemli bir hale getirdi. Teknolojik, ekolojik ve sosyal
değişimler, ihtiyaç normlarında da değişim meydana getirdi ve endüstrilerin sürdürülebilir,
çevreci stratejilere yönelmesi gerekliliği ortaya çıkardı. Netice olarak üretim süreçlerinin
daha çevre dostu ve küresel normlara uygun olması ile dış ticaret gelirlerini artırmak
mümkün... Sürdürülebilirlik alanında uzmanlaşmayı ve bunu rekabet avantajına dönüştürmeyi
başaran şirketler, geleceğin liderleri olarak karşımıza çıkacaklardır.
Technical textiles and sustainability
Technical textiles, taking place in a wide range of fields from medical textiles to the
automotive sector, from the defense industry to geo-textiles, from composite materials
to smart textiles, are increasing their importance day by day. In the world, the field
of smart and technological textiles is emerging as a new competitive field by developing
rapidly both in terms of market and consumption. The technical textile sector
is also offering facilitating solutions to other sectors in the fields such as automotive
textiles, construction and agriculture in addition to producing nano-technological,
non-polluting, breathing, heat-holding textile products. The sector has been showing
great potential because of that new products are discovered, that it meets new needs
and that it substitutes traditional products and materials. Technical textiles have
become not only the industry of a few developed countries but also a global industry.
The latest developments in technical textiles were showcased in Germany. Techtextil,
Texprocess and Heimtextil Summer Special trade fairs which have been
held in Germany kept their pre-pandemic international levels in terms of both
exhibitors and visitors. At Techtextil and Texprocess, sustainable materials and
processing technologies, automation and digital processes, as well as innovations
and progressive new developments were presented in the exhibitor product
range. The participants who took their parts at the fair also had the opportunity
to exhibit their new products in the international arena. Automation, sustainability
and flexibility were the most important keywords at the fair.
Sustainability and social compliance topics in the textile and garment sectors have
gained momentum recently. That the natural resources decrease, the world population
increases made the effective usage of the resources important in all industries.
Technological, ecological and social changes also brought about changes in
the norms of need and showed that the industries need to turn to sustainable, environmentalist
strategies. As a result, it is possible to increase foreign trade revenues
by making production processes more environmentally friendly and complying with
global norms. The companies that manage to specialize in the field of sustainability
and turn it into a competitive advantage will emerge as the leaders of the future.
