Internationales Chorfest Magdeburg October 5 - 9, 2022 Magdeburg, Germany A festival of international understanding Following the huge success of the European Choir Games and Grand Prix of Nations in 2015, Magdeburg – home city of Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann – will once again become a welcoming host for a dynamic and inspiring festival of choral music. The Chorfest Magdeburg, which has been successfully organized by the Choir Association Saxony-Anhalt for years, will be enriched with an international choir competition by INTERKULTUR to create an eventful international festival to connect local choirs with singers from all over the world. Competitions in different levels of difficulty, categories and settings as well as Friendship Concerts, possibilities for singing together and personal education leave nothing to be desired by the participating choirs. A variety of concert activities by the local choirs will make a valuable contribution to these opportunities. The “Internationales Chorfest Magdeburg” provides a platform for an active exchange of national and international choral music, new friendships and unique intercultural encounters.

Das „Vokalensemble InTakt“ wurde 2001 in <strong>Magdeburg</strong> gegründet. Der Chor vesteht aus derzeit<br />
rund 25 Sängerinnen und Sängern zwischen 30 und 60 Jahren. Das Repertoire ist bunt<br />
gemischt von Klassik bis Pop. Das Markenzeichen von „InTakt“ ist es einen kurzweiligen<br />
Mix aus bekannten und weniger bekannten Melodien, die mit viel Freude und Leidenschaft<br />
für das gemeinsame Singen dargeboten werden, zu präsentieren. Gern singt der Chor bei<br />
Hochzeiten, bei Geburtstagsfeiern und Jubiläen. Jährlich bereichern zahlreiche Konzerte und<br />
Auftritte, die Teilnahme an <strong>Chorfest</strong>en, Konzertreisen und Choraustauschen das Chorleben.<br />
18 Jahre lang leitete Hans-Joachim Böhme den Chor. 2019 übernahm Aliia Iskhakova die Leitung.<br />
Seit Januar 2021 ist Mario Hübner der Chorleiter des „Vokalensemble InTakt“.<br />
The “Vokalensemble InTakt” was founded in <strong>Magdeburg</strong> in 2001. The choir currently consists<br />
of about 25 singers with an age-span between 30 and 60 years. The repertoire is a colorful<br />
mix from classical to pop. The trademark of “InTakt” is to present an entertaining mix of<br />
well-known and lesser-known melodies, performed with a lot of joy and passion for singing<br />
together. The choir enjoys singing at weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries. Every year,<br />
numerous concerts and performances, participation in choir festivals, concert tours and choir<br />
exchanges enrich the choir's experiences. For 18 years, Hans-Joachim Böhme led the choir.<br />
In 2019, Aliia Iskhakova took over the leadership. Since January 2021 the “Vokalensemble<br />
InTakt” has been under the direction of Mario Hübner.
