The external organization appears in the selection box that is displayed when an end user enters an<br />
external organization field. External organization fields include, but are not limited to, those listed<br />
in Table 12.<br />

Creating an Account in <strong>Siebel</strong><br />
<strong>Communications</strong> (End User)<br />
An account forms the major link for entering detailed information about customers. After adding<br />
accounts in <strong>Siebel</strong> <strong>Communications</strong>, end users can contribute information for tracking customer<br />
service, processing requests, viewing agreements, and so on.<br />
To create an account<br />
1 Navigate to the Accounts screen.<br />
2 In the link bar, click Accounts list.<br />
3 Add a new record to the Accounts list, and complete the necessary fields in the Account record<br />
and the More Info form. To access more fields, click the show more button in the form.<br />

Field Comments<br />
Account Class Distinguishes an account within an account hierarchy when dividing<br />
accounts into billing or service accounts. The Billing Account and Service<br />
Account Explorers filter on this field. Also, the accounts available for<br />
association in the Quotes and Entry views are determined by account<br />
classes.<br />
For Account Class, select Customer if you are creating a residential<br />
customer account.<br />

Account Team Determines who can access information about the account.<br />
