IS A CORE GOAL FOR YOUR
BUSINESS. WHAT CHANGES
ARE YOU SEEING IN THE
INDUSTRY?
I truly believe if you are not genuine and
do this for the wrong reason it shows
and easily burns because these days
social media and consumers expect so
much transparency.
We have championed diversity and
inclusivity from the start. It began
with not allowing heavy editing of our
campaign photos to show realistic
beauty standards. Recently we launched
#WokeWednesday where we will use
our platform to shed light on issues only
women have around the world. Our first
post was in support of those that suffer
from endometriosis. Our objective is
to have women who feel that they don’t
have a voice to approach us, to be
their voice using this platform. This can
become controversial but it’s a risk we
as a company are willing to take to help
other women.
I often visit local schools in SA and
provide empowerment speeches to
young females to share my story and
encourage them to take a leap with
