Broad and Balanced...<br />
Y5<br />
Class 5 have had a busy two weeks back at school! In Art and Design, we have<br />
been practising new skills including monoblock printing, tie dye and stitching.<br />
We are excited to be putting our new skills to the test next week to create lavender<br />
pillows.<br />
We have also been very lucky to have the Pirates Rugby Club come into school<br />
to teach us to play rugby. We were really impressed with the children’s teamwork<br />
and perseverance with new skills. In Geography, we have been exploring<br />
the water cycle - the children created their own versions that we will be observing<br />
throughout the week.<br />
In Science, we have been discovering more about our solar system and the<br />
Earth’s revolution and rotation (including taking turns practising the Earth’s<br />
orbit!).<br />
Well done for a brilliant start to 2023, Class 5! Your attitude towards your<br />
learning has been fantastic!
