At the intersection of FM 1171 and Morriss
Road, 32 lanes converge. Similar to the
previous junction intervention, cyclist
safety and comfort is increased with the
implementation of shaded structures, foot
rests, bicycle-specific traffic signals, and
prevention of right-on-reds by cars.
primary principles
Morriss Road contains a wide median
separating its four lanes. The proposed
cycle track runs within this median and is
connected with either side throughout the
junction by painted cycle tracks.
