Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree<br />

from the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy (AUHSOP) in a seven-yearperiod.<br />

Students may complete the first professional year (33 total semester hours) to fulfill their<br />

senior year of their bachelor's degree at <strong>BSC</strong>. Upon successful completion of the first<br />

year and receipt of an Auburn University final transcript, <strong>BSC</strong> will confer the bachelor's<br />

degree.<br />

To be eligible for enrollment in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, students must have<br />

competed at least 25 regular units and two Exploration terms, and fulfilled all general<br />

education and major requirements (with the exception of the Senior Capstone<br />

requirement) at Birmingham-Southern College. Once the remaining requirements are<br />

completed at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy (AUHSOP), the student<br />

will be awarded the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.<br />

<strong>BSC</strong> Students who have completed a minimum of two terms of undergraduate courses<br />

(minimum 24 semester credit hours) with a minimum GPA of 3.250 may apply for early<br />

admission to the AUHSOP program. The AUHSOP will track all early admitted<br />

applicants and hold future seats in the PharmD program for a time period of up to four<br />

years from the date they matriculated into the undergraduate course work. In order to<br />

maintain their reserved seat, students must:<br />

• be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours (3 <strong>BSC</strong> units) each term<br />

(excluding summer)<br />

• maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.250 at the completion of each academic year<br />

• have no grade lower than a “C” in any course<br />

• have no withdrawals from any course<br />

• have not been disciplined by <strong>BSC</strong> or a state licensing agency<br />
