Welcome<br />
We’re excited to launch this new issue with a fabulous<br />
offer on a pair of French fancies. The Prestige Cuvée range<br />
of wines was only launched in March and have been a<br />
roaring success. The wines are made from a blend of grape<br />
varieties, each delivering something special to the final<br />
wine, it’s certainly a case of being more than the sum of its<br />
parts! Try this wine as a quality option for your house pour,<br />
they’re classy with complex flavours and a juicy fruity finish,<br />
bound to become a favourite with your locals.<br />
We have plenty to shout about throughout July and August<br />
with multiple days dedicated to the celebration of wine.<br />
Make the most of them and encourage customers to<br />
indulge in something sparkling before their meal, or to sip a<br />
glass of old vine chenin or two, with friends.<br />
Albarino day falls on the 1st of August and is an excellent<br />
way to take our minds off the impending duty change. It<br />
also lends itself to the amazing seafood we’re so lucky to<br />
have landed on our doorstep. We love to drink it with Hake<br />
Fish and Chips, Monkfish in a punchy marinade or just to<br />
accompany a simple crab sandwich.<br />

We’ll raise a glass to old friends Shiraz, Cabernet and Pinot<br />
Noir this summer, each could become a BBQ favourite,<br />
Shiraz is perfect with a spiced lamb burger, Cabernet a<br />
classic with steak and Pinot Noir, made to accompany tuna<br />
in a soy, sherry, garlic and ginger marinade.<br />
You may be exhausted keeping up with all this merry<br />
making and if that’s the case, perhaps you’ll join the rest<br />
of us with a chilled glass of rosé. Sales have been steadily<br />
climbing since the beginning of the year and show no<br />
sign of abating, from White Zinfandel to Provence, Pinot<br />
Grigio to Portugal the success of rose has no geographical<br />
boundaries. Whatever is on your wine list, make sure you’re<br />
well stocked!<br />
Finally, a reminder that we are expecting a change to duty<br />
which will effect all wines on the 1st August.<br />
