Details: Willowsfield is a peaceful
country retreat in Kent that creates
wholesome two day wilderness
camping experiences for larger
groups of families and friends. Each
group rents the entire site and can
enjoy privacy and space around
open fires in idyllic countryside.
Facilities on the site include
shelters, toilets, hot showers,
water, open fires and chimineas
plus access to adjacent hectares of
forest. The whole experience has
been designed to create the ideal
bonding experience so a full group
can get back together. It’s been so
well received that previous guests
are already rebooking.
When looking for a hot shower
solution, owner Peter Langdown
turned to Sheep Shed Creations for
its gothic arch inspired unit. “The
overall sweeping shape and design
looked unique,” he said, “plus the
use of materials and matching colours was
really elegant”. However, for the shower to
work on this site, it needed a few adaptations
so it could be moved it in and out of place for
bookings.

Details: Set in the countryside,
just a stone’s throw from the coast
near Bude in Cornwall, Wooda Farm
has been welcoming guests since 1975
and offers touring and camping pitches,
luxury lodges, cottages and a range of on-site
facilities – it’s been a 5 star experience every year since
1981.
In July 2023, Wooda Farm installed six private bathroom pods on grass
electric pitches in Upper Meadow. The high-spec CampPlus SOLO XL units
allow guests to add an extra bit of space and luxury to their stay.
Just as it can be awkward at home when the toilet and bathroom are
in one room and there are lots of people trying to use the ‘facilities’ at
the same time, the SOLO XL units have been designed with two separate
compartments with individual doors. Compartment one contains the WC
while compartment two gives separate access to the shower room, which
includes a deep sink for washing and an under-counter fridge. Never the
twain shall meet.

and trailer tents an added bit of luxury to their stay with their own private
WC, shower, sink and washing up area. For people with extended families,
the SOLO XL will give them extra space to spread out.”
