Proprietor, Julian Askham, has been in the tiling trade since he<br />
left school, establishing his own business in <strong>Dronfield</strong> 15 years<br />
ago.<br />
The enterprise initially came about to serve tradespeople in the<br />
town, but The Tile Place also caters for DIYers and provides a full<br />
fitting service.<br />
A move to the current premises in Callywhite Lane six years ago<br />
allowed The Tile Place to expand its showroom space and the<br />
number and variety of products on offer.<br />
Today there are three showrooms featuring more than 2,000<br />
different quality tiles for walls and floors - interior and exterior.<br />
The range covers budget to bespoke and includes tiles made<br />
from ceramic, porcelain, slate, stone, limestone and even glass.<br />
Browse the displays for products for a traditional or modern<br />
look, including large format tiles – perfect for open-plan homes -<br />
along with classic marble effect tiles and bold, eye-catching,<br />
patterns.<br />
The Tile Place sells products from countries across Europe,<br />
such as Italy, Spain and Portugal, and beyond.<br />
There’s absolutely no reason for customers to be short of<br />
inspiration with Julian and his team offering plenty of friendly<br />
aesthetic and practical advice.<br />
Customers who want to engage the services of a fitter need<br />
look no further than The Tile Place as the business has its own<br />
in-house tilers, together with a free measuring service and zero<br />
deposit payment plan. For added peace of mind, clients are only<br />
asked for payment when they are completely satisfied with the<br />
finished result. In addition, The Tile Place offers free delivery.<br />
Meanwhile, a good selection of adhesives and grouts are<br />
always in stock.<br />
Visit the showroom Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Saturday,<br />
9am to 4pm, and Sunday, 10am to 2pm.<br />
