A barnstorming
design
W
hen a Killamarsh couple headed into Sheffield intending
to speak to companies which they believed could
transform the unique contours of their bathroom, they didn’t get
any further than the H2O Bathroom Solutions showroom at
Woodseats.
Chatting to the friendly team of professionals there, and
admiring the many striking displays in the large premises
opposite Woodseats School, they immediately knew they had
found the perfect company to turn their dreams into reality.
They decided they didn’t need to talk to anyone else and instead
of moving on to visit other companies as planned, they headed for
a coffee shop where they sat and excitedly chatted over the finer
details of the job in hand.
Living in a beautifully-converted Derbyshire stone barn, the pair
knew that colours and textures would be important, together with
contemporary fittings which would look smart and also be easy to
keep clean.
The existing bathtub, basin, toilet, mosaic tiles and corner
shower with its sliding door had to go and they’d had enough of
trying to keep old grouting looking good!
The new room is full of highlights and special features but the
large and dramatic walk-in
shower is particularly striking.
Opposite is a huge bespoke
mirror, perfectly fitting the
dimensions of the room’s
sloping roof and with heat pads
beneath to prevent misting
from the large Duravit two
station basin beneath.
With an attractive upright
towel rail/radiator and a
rimless, off-the-floor toilet
basin to reduce cleaning time,
the couple are thrilled with
their new bathroom.
The total transformation took
just a couple of weeks and the
customers felt so comfortable
with the fitters who did the job
that they went away for one of
the weeks and left them to it.
Open from Monday to Saturday with out of hours and Sunday
appointments available by request.
