SUPAFIT Bedrooms is a family business based in<br />
<strong>Dronfield</strong> and Sheffield which has been providing<br />
local customers with high-quality, bespoke<br />
furniture for over 30 years.<br />
Supafit was started by Martin Backhouse and his<br />
wife Jayne. Martin, first and foremost, is a furniture<br />
maker who has a great eye for detail and a skill set<br />
which led him to where he is today.<br />
Supafit continue to produce quality products<br />
despite the difficult economic situation. This is<br />
because they work hard to ensure that they listen<br />
and understand all customers’ needs and exactly<br />
the look they want to achieve.<br />
Martin said: “What our customers want is a<br />
creative, beautiful room that they can afford, and<br />
our history shows that we are consistently able to<br />
provide creative solutions at competitive prices.<br />

By taking on board lessons learned during their<br />
long history, Supafit will design your bedroom,<br />
office or media unit free of charge, which you can<br />
then view on a 3D visual screen and make any<br />
tweaks required.<br />
Unlike other businesses, Supafit have their own<br />
state-of-the-art factory where they make and build<br />
elements before taking it on-site to fit.<br />
With each year that goes by, the company gets<br />
bigger and expands its reach further afield to areas<br />
around Sheffield and Derbyshire.<br />
The business now concentrates solely on<br />
bedrooms, offices and media units.<br />
Martin and Jayne’s daughters, Jenna and Lydia,<br />
are now taking a front seat. Jenna is head designer<br />
and Lydia is dedicated to sales. Martin and Jayne<br />
work fewer days than in the past but are still<br />
involved and always available if needed.<br />
Lydia said: “Many people would say it is hard<br />
working so closely everyday with family but we all<br />
help each other so much. We laugh and get on<br />
very well, so really it’s just like working with your<br />
best friends.”<br />
