after you have gently closed this book at its end in serene
composure. –
If that’s the case, then hooray! Then my very first emotion
that overcame me back then in Thailand, at the signal
words laser welding, was not only doubly but triply
worthwhile. Because this book, thanks to your added
sense of connection, takes on a hitherto undreamed-of
dimension: a third! Because it is proof that welding also
creates interdisciplinary connections. The best example
is: Welding even fulfils children’s dreams! This fantastic
story is also told in this book.
Welding connects! You, and me, and somehow all of
us. That’s how Mother Nature intended it for us. And this
is how the poet of the German Enlightenment, the mastermind
of the new self-confidence of the bourgeoisie,
Gotthold Ephraim Lessing (1759 – 1805), wrote it.
