What are you most proud of? Having been fortunate enough to grow up on the farm surrounded by nature, I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to create this business and earn a living from the place I call home. I feel incredibly proud to have achieved this alongside my brother, and to have created an events/leisure business that has allowed others to forge happy and lasting memories. Have you worked with any industry bodies or consultants? Our parents have been like consultants for us throughout; we could not have done it without their support! What are your plans for next season? We have lots of wonderful events to look forward to hosting and people coming to stay on the farm. We are going to build a disabled loo at Chalkney Water Meadows and potentially a new cabin. We also have lots of side projects like growing organic fruit and vegetables and making honey. Don’t give up, even when the days are long and the weather is not on your side. The journey makes the business what it will become.
