the basic machine, the vacuum filler. This<br />
weight accuracy significantly reduces<br />
costs, especially when processing highquality<br />

very gentle mixing technology of the<br />

One of the production solutions of<br />
Handtmann is the range of forming<br />
systems. It is characterised above all<br />
by its flexible use in many different<br />
areas of application, from soft product<br />
consistencies to firm products. In addition,<br />
a large variety of shapes is possible with<br />
countless options, such as round, square,<br />
oblong, 3D shapes in dog bone form and<br />
more. Here the filling product is fed to the<br />
flow divider by a VF 800 vacuum filler. The<br />
servo-driven flow divider ensures precise<br />
rotor speed in the flow divider. The result<br />
is a continuous product flow without<br />
pressure fluctuations, and thus accurate<br />
final weights. The flow divider ejects the<br />
filling product in multi-lane filling flows<br />
via mould components. The desired<br />
product shape is created using forming<br />
tubes positioned at the outlet. The shape<br />
can be changed easily and quickly by<br />
exchanging the forming tubes. Product<br />
separating is performed directly at the<br />
outlet, either with a wire or with a blade; it<br />
is uninterrupted and linear to the product<br />
speed. Production can be onto racks and<br />
trays as well as onto a conveyor belt. The<br />
vacuum filler’s control system allows easy<br />
visualisation of the product shape and<br />
calculation of the process parameters.<br />
