Collin Kelting Randy Shumaker Our PrOduct lines See what Custom Builders can offer you. “I would highly recommend Custom Builders to build your dream shop. Custom Builders went above and beyond with their skills and customer service. One of the perks with this company was that one of the owners, Randy Shumaker, made sure that all of the in-house work was aligned and scheduled before the end of the previous project. This made the project move along quicky, and waiting was minimal. Custom Builders made my dream shop into reality, and you can make it yours too.” C B — Collin Kelting, Tipton 209 West South Street, Tipton, IA 52772 | Phone: (563) 886-6196 82 EASTERN IOWA FARMER | FALL 2023 eifarmer.com EasternIowaFarmer_South_Fall2023.indd 82 9/19/23 3:35 PM

Proficiency Award winners have excelled in their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs. Sara Wyant, a Capitol Hill journalist, is the keynote speaker for the event. Wyant is the founder of Agri-Pulse Communications Inc., a digital media firm she launched in 2004 to focus on farm, food and rural policy issues. During her career, Wyant also has been a trailblazer through several glass ceilings. In 1995, she was Sara Wyant the first female to be named to the senior management team in agricultural publishing as vice president for editorial at Farm Progress. She served as the first female chairwoman on the Farm Foundation’s board of trustees and as president of the American Agricultural Editors Association, where she earned an award for excellence in agricultural reporting.
