Delray Under $50
Most Fun Small Town, Most Crazy Small Town, Most Small Town that Feels
Like a Big Town. Delray has it all. With a bustling downtown, Pineapple
Grove area, and little nooks and crannies in between, there’s more
to do in Delray now than ever, with events and happenings
spanning from daytime to nighttime. While it can
seem expensive at times, there’s a great
opportunity to enjoy all the City has to offer
without breaking the bank. Here’s what you can
do in Delray Beach in January for $50 or less.
CAFFE LUNA ROSA
Happy New Year! While ringing in the New Year with music,
glitter and dancing is a great way to celebrate, if you’re looking
for a relaxing and enlightening way to enjoy the beginning
of the New Year, turn to the beach. There’s just something super
peaceful about watching the first sunrise of 2024, and a great
way to think about what intentions and goals you’d like to set for
yourself for the next 365. January is Celebration of Life Month and
making the effort to connect with yourself and the planet can never
be a bad idea. Neither can walking across the street to Caffe Luna
Rosa for a glass of champagne to toast to the New Year. They open
at 7 a.m. and feature both indoor and outdoor seating, but a spot
at the cozy bar is always a great option. Start with a glass of prosecco
($13), mimosa ($9) or even their fresh watermelon mimosa
($15). If you’re hungry, you absolutely cannot go wrong with their
Fresh Burrata and Avocado Toast, made of toasted challah bread
topped with fresh burrata spread, sliced avocado, red onions over
a bed of arugula with a side of heirloom tomatoes tossed in red
wine vinegar and balsamic reduction for $21. Now that’s the best
way to start the New Year! Caffe Luna Rosa is located at 34 S. Ocean
Blvd. Please visit www.caffelunarosa.com or call (561) 274-9404
WINTER GREENMARKET
Give yourself a big pat on the back because you successfully
lived through another holiday season. While the holidays are
a great way to spend time with loved ones, it’s also a surefire
way to wear yourself a little thin. Between the gifts, parties, EOY
work projects, and traveling, the normal equilibrium of your life
can get skewed. So, this January, which also happens to be Get a Balanced
Life Month, it’s time to get your balance back. The best way
to do that is to get some fresh air, sunshine and healthy food! For
that, head down to the Winter GreenMarket. This open-air market
features more than 60 premier food vendors boasting farm-to-fork
produce, just-picked citrus, tropical fruit and juice, farm fresh eggs,
artisan cheese and jams, fragrant baked goods, plenty of glutenfree,
vegan and organic products, fresh cut flowers, plants and other
unique gourmet fare, all along with live musical entertainment.
