otta Know ENTERTAINMENT | GOTTA KNOW Delray Chamber Celebrates its 3rd Annual Beyond Words Storytelling Competition ALL OF THIS YEAR’S BEYOND WORDS STORYTELLING COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS The Delray Chamber’s Nonprofit Council held its 3rd Annual Beyond Words Storytelling Competition on December 5th. There were 8 participants including Milagro Center, CROS Ministries, Achievement Center for Children & Families, Herd Foundation, Institute for Regional Conservation, David Hall and The Boys & Girls Club, 4KIDS Palm Beach and Delray Medical and Dental along with 6 judges including Ann Paton/Paton & Associates, Adam Nelson/Little Blue Plane, Mimi Meister/Charity Dynamics, Elizabeth Grace/The Buzz Agency, Roberta Ravella/Consultant and Rich Pollack/Pollack Communications. The theme was Collaboration and how it benefited the organization. The winner for 2023 was Herd Foundation. Scott McLean, one of the veterans turned volunteer, gave a heartfelt presentation about Herd Foundation and the impact it has had on his life and now countless others. The Delray Chamber loves our local nonprofits and provides a Nonprofit Council, including monthly meetings to network, educate and collaborate.
