To Allyson Sullivan the sun sets a little
brighter in Delray Beach. She has not only
lived here for the past 30 years, but she has
been a realtor for 22 of those years.
Allyson has seen it all and heard a lot. “As a realtor in town I
meet many people from out of town and many locals. Some
of them consider me to be a resource for all things Delray
Beach,” said the Delray Beach Lang Realty agent.
Because of this Sullivan wants to share some of her favorite things
about Delray. Some of the them may surprise you – but not to Sullivan.
She tends to look on the bright side – even with sunglasses on.
“I love the small town beach vibe of Delray and many things that
people complain about. I actually love the bridge and never mind
getting stuck in traffic when the bridge is open.”
Sullivan also loves watching the trains go by and the traffic (yes
you heard that right). She also enjoys all the hustle and bustle of
our little beach town.
On the side of land use and real estate, Sullivan’s quest for perfection
also lands squarely on the ground.
“I love that there are so many types of various real estate options
- there is something for everyone. I think Delray has really nailed
the concept of new urbanism.”
What she means is the design movement that promotes environmentally
friendly habits such as creating walkable neighborhoods,
offering a wide range of housing and adding creative venues
and options.
