Bluff In The Buff
By: Lauren Tallman / Erotic Las Vegas
Is your party a bust? Are your friends staring into
space, or worse, sleeping? Liven up the party
with a game of poker – strip poker.
“The truth is that people love to play strip poker,” writes Dan
O’Callaghan in Emagazine 888poker.com. “It can be a fun, sexy, or
hilarious way to spend a night…. The embarrassment of nudity provides
a fun way of adding just enough risk.”
Before seniors pull out their card table and chairs, they can sharpen
their skills, and perfect their poker faces, by taking some 7-Card Stud,
Texas Hold ‘Em, and Razz classes online. “We provide personal training
with mock games, with one person or multiple novices at one time,” Mark
Streeter, owner of Pokertraininglasvegas.com said.
“[Strip poker] brings camaraderie to the community,” Matthew
Carpenter, owner of instructional poker site luckymittengaming.com,
said. “And it’s a game where you don’t lose your money.”
Both websites provide the invigorating experience of calling, raising,
and going all in. With your newfound dexterity, you’ll be flush with
confidence, and maybe the one who’s most – or least – dressed at the end
of the game. That’s up to you…
In addition to courting some action, naughty card sharks can also keep
their minds sharp.
According to replaypoker.com, poker enhances mental capacity and
helps prevent Alzheimer’s in senior citizens by up to 50 percent.
The blog post on the site states, “Along with building cognitive skills that
can lead to enhanced productivity and overall mood, games like Texas
Hold ‘Em or Omaha poker can also reduce players’ risk of Alzheimer’s,
making poker a valuable tool for senior citizens looking to stay sharp and
delay the effects of aging.”
Next time you organize a get-together, take a gamble. Tell your
swinging, high-roller friends they’re going to hit the jackpot during a
friendly game of strip poker!
But don’t be surprised if some rookie players come wearing extra shirts,
vests, hats, jackets, socks, and underwear pleading cold weather.
Start dealing, and get ready to show all your cards…
