Der Wickeltisch ist ein wichtiger Ort für die ersten
Lebensmonate eines Kindes. Hierauf wird es aus der
sicheren Umgebung seiner Wiege gelegt und fühlt
sich sicherer, wenn seine Hände etwas greifen
können. So entstanden die Griffe an den Seiten der
Wickelfläche. Sie erleichtern zugleich die Verlegung
des Wickelfläche vom Tisch auf das Sofa.
Wenn das Kind groß genug ist, kann die Wickelfläche
einfach herabgenommen werden, und der Wickeltisch
verwandelt sich im Handumdrehen in eine praktische
Ablage, die hervorragend mit den anderen Bird and

During the first months of its life, the dresser is a
source of adventures for the child – here it is
unravelled from the chrysalis of its crib and presented
to the big world. A baby feels safer if it has something
to hold on to with its tiny hand. This is how the handles
appeared on the upper edges of the dresser’s
surface. They can be used to remove the surface from
the table and place it next to you on the sofa while you
watch your favourite history channel.
When the child has grown, the changing tray can be
removed and stored for the time when the dresser will
be transformed along with the rest of the Bird & Berry
furniture into a matching contemporary chest of
drawers.
