Britax Römer has announced a brand new Group 1
car seat: the ultra- safe and easy to install TRIFIX.
Along with the ISOFIX installation system, ISOFIX+,
used for the first time in the TRIFIX, utilises two
revolutionary technologies to securely harness the
seat to the car and keep little ones safer than ever.
Britax Römer’s patented V-Tether is a superior top
tether technology which adds a third anchorage point,
reinforcing the seat’s stability. In the event of an
accident, the intelligent V-Tether technology absorbs
impact forces the same as those generated by the
collision and dramatically reduces forward or rotational
movement. The Pivot Link system takes advantage of
the ISOFIX anchoring system and reduces much of
the forward rotation of the seat at the same time,
channelling a large part of the energy downwards into
the seat of the car. This means that the child’s
forward movement is absorbed, reduced and slowed
down as the seat is pressed into the seat of the car.
This keeps the child safer by reducing the strain
placed on their body and the spine in particular.
