Landesbank Berlin Holding AG 21 Timo Leonhardt works as a lawyer in the legal department for retail and corporate customers. Following his degree and legal clerkship in Kiel and Hamburg, he wanted to join a large company. Landesbank Berlin with its graduate trainee programme for graduates in law was precisely the right solution for him. He spent a good year learning “on the job” how to put theory into practice. The topics and fields of law covered are diverse and range from questions of identification when opening accounts to commenting on agreements and providing colleagues in the branches with help with legal problems by phone. Legal proceedings are, of course, also possible but we often succeed in finding a solution with the customer beforehand which both sides can easily live with. Timo Leonhardt has completed the graduate trainee programme successfully and is looking forward to new professional challenges in LBB. He now feels thoroughly at home in Berlin, too: for a weekend to be a success for him, it has to include an hour in his favourite café in Berlin-Mitte.
