History Lincoln Highway, Pennsylvania Traveler’s Guide Established in 1913, the Lincoln Highway (old Route 30) became the first concrete roadway to cross the 3,000-mile width of the U.S.A.; 300 miles cross the southern portion of Pennsylvania.
