Bracelet Bonanza
Learn several techniques and stitches for
creating fashionable bead bracelets. You
will work with a variety of beads and
stitches. You will take home the projects
you make to use for yourself or to give as

Custom Framing Techniques
Add that final, professional touch to your
best pictures, needlecraft or artwork.
Discover the techniques of custom framing
from a professional framer. Learn about
tools, matting, frame making and material
selection. Material fee provides everything
needed for a complete framing. Bring a 5 x
7 photo or print to the first class for matting.

Dream Dollhouse
Have you often told yourself that someday
you would like to build a dollhouse? Do
you remember the one you had or wished
for as a child? Now is the opportunity to
create a charming miniature cottage. This
four-room, wooden cottage can be completed
in either of two themes: Christmas or
Victorian. Tool list distributed at first
class. Registration closes one week prior to
the class to allow for the purchase of
materials. Conducted at Just Miniature
Scale, 104 S. Pennsylvania Avenue,

You will learn how to knit a scarf and
dishcloth using beautiful yarn in fall

One-Stroke Painting
If you’ve never painted before, you can
learn this new acrylic painting technique
and create a variety of projects; four or
five seasonal (fall) will be completed at the
Youngwood class. The projects at the
Laurel Center will all be painted on glass.
The first class meets for one hour to
receive the material list and see samples

Pottery: Wheel Throwing for
Beginners & Beyond
Learn to create clay objects on a pottery
wheel. This class focuses on wheel throwing
techniques and a variety of handbuilding,
decorating and glazing techniques.
Bring to class: small bucket and
old towel. Wear clothing that you don’t
mind getting dirty. Short fingernails recommended.
