Heartsaver CPR: Adult/Child/Infant<br />

This course is designed for all lay rescuers<br />

especially those expected to respond to<br />

workplace emergencies. It provides adult,<br />

child and infant CPR skills and foreignbody<br />

airway obstruction maneuvers. Learn<br />

how to increase survival from a sudden<br />

cardiac arrest in this interactive course<br />

designed for police, firefighters, security<br />

guards, daycare center personnel, and<br />

other workers. Written testing and handson<br />

skill performance required. A course<br />

card is awarded upon successful completion.<br />

$17 tuition + $8 material fee +<br />

Heartsaver AED with Pediatric AED<br />

This Heartsaver AED course teaches CPR,<br />

AED use, relief of choking in adults and<br />

children, infant CPR and relief of choking,<br />

and use of barrier devices for all ages.<br />

$21 tuition + $8 material fee + required<br />

An AHA course of basic first aid skills<br />

only, this course is designed for workers<br />

needing OSHA-compliant first aid, emergency<br />

responders and the general public.<br />

Includes rescuer safety, medical, injury<br />

and environmental emergencies. Wounds,<br />

bleeding, shock, stroke, seizures, allergic<br />

reactions, broken bones, sprains and<br />

bruises, choking, bites and stings, heat<br />

and cold emergencies and poisonings are<br />

covered. Heartsaver First Aid text<br />

required. Two-year certification awarded<br />

upon successful completion. $7 tuition +<br />

$5 material fee, .3 CEUs<br />

This course is specially designed to train<br />

those responsible for children's health.<br />

Provides information on how to manage<br />

illness and injuries in a child during the<br />

first few minutes of an emergency until<br />

professional help arrives. Includes four<br />

core modules: First Aid Basics, Injuries<br />

and Illnesses, Life-threatening<br />

Emergencies and the Chain of Survival.<br />

$42 tuition + $10 material fee + required<br />
