Basics of Quilting
Learn the basics of quilt making, from the
choice of fabrics and colors, along with the
basic assembly of the squares and quilt top,
to the completion of the quilt and actual
quilting (hand or machine) design. You will
leave the class with a quilted table runner
to display in your home. Registration closes
two weeks prior to the class to allow for the
purchase of materials. Bring sewing
machine, extension cord, scissors, cutting
mat, rotary cutter, straight pins and acrylic

Learn the valuable tradition of creating
keepsake albums and how fun and
rewarding it can be as you preserve your
photos, stories, memorabilia and heritage.

Intermediate Tole Painting
Go further with your tole painting!
Projects completed in this class will
include painting wooden cut-out angels, a
wooden purse with a beach scene and a
flower basket on a wooden tray. Use the
items to decorate your home or to give as
gifts. The first class meets for one hour to
receive a material list and discuss supplies.
Registration closes one week prior to
the class to allow for the purchase of

What Do I Need to Know?
Are you unsure about what you really
need in a computer system? Confused over
hardware and software terms? Should you
upgrade your current computer or get a
new one? Would it be better to buy a boxed
computer or build one? Find answers to
these questions and much more in this
highly informative class on computers.
This course is a prerequisite for those students
who will be taking "Build Your Own

Build Your Own Computer:
a Hands-On Course
From the very first night, you will add the
necessary hardware to build your customized
computer tower or desktop. In the
succeeding sessions, you will add the operating
system, software drivers, tweak and
personalize your system, and learn how to
maintain your newly built computer.
Attendance for all classes will be mandatory
since each class builds on the knowledge
and progress of the preceding class.
Prior to taking this class, you will be
required to take the course "Build or Buy
a Computer," a course that will aid you in
making the proper purchasing decisions
based on your needs and budget. You will
need to purchase the necessary hardware
and tool kit to bring to each class.

Learn the basics of CD burning. Save critical
data by backing up your most important
