This is the capstone course for the certification<br />
program through which you will<br />
gain experience with computerized<br />
account management. You will become<br />
familiar with completing insurance claim<br />
forms. In addition, you will learn recordkeeping,<br />
patient recordkeeping, patient<br />
record and ledger sheets in addition to<br />
other office management skills.<br />
Medical Terminology<br />
Youwill be introduced to medical prefixes<br />
and suffixes and taught how to combine<br />
various forms of these words to create functional<br />
medical terminology. You will gain<br />
knowledge that will allow you to define<br />
medical terms and develop a basic understanding<br />
of the word based on the structure<br />
of the word. This course is the foundation<br />
for a number of courses in the medical<br />
profession and will be the basis on which<br />
