Lot 311 Owl Turns Head –<br />

White Owl<br />

Made by the J. & E. <strong>Stevens</strong> Company<br />

Cromwell, Connecticut – Circa 1880<br />

<strong>The</strong> rare and elusive “White Owl” is<br />

something akin to the Maltese Falcon for<br />

bank collectors. When the bank’s lever is<br />

pressed, the owl turns his head to the left<br />

and then it snaps back into position.<br />

Material: Cast Iron and Glass Eyes<br />

Condition: Near Mint Plus & Bright<br />
