Lot 19 Young Boy Depositing Coin An extremely rare bank, made of bronze, designed by the famed French sculptor, E. Barries (1841 – 1905) and cast by the Ferdinand Barbedienne Foundry, Paris, circa 1880. This bank has Chinese or Japanese alphabet characters inscribed on it. The bank depicts a young boy depositing a coin into the bank. Engraved with the artists signature and foundry initials (FB) Material: Bronze Condition: Pristine Plus Estimate: $5,000 - $7,500 9 Lot 18 Barrel with Arms- Multicolor An extremely rare and highly desirable bank made by J. & E.
