1 Joost Glissenaar - Klaas van der Molen, Amsterdam-Oost. Alternative commission for 30 apartments for<br />

elderly, a library and a care centre. Building should start in 2004.<br />

2 Alberto Nicolau, Almere. Study made for competition building on alternative site.<br />

3 Siebold Nijenhuis - Aldo Vos, Almere. Commission for original site in autumn 2000. Building starts in<br />

2005.<br />

4 Gijs Raggers, Haarlemmermeer. Made a preliminary design for a small residential tower on an<br />

alternative site. No further commission.<br />

5 André Kempe - Oliver Thill, Rotterdam. Involved in urban scheme for the site, still waiting for the hand<br />

over of the site from the railway authorities to the municipality.<br />

<strong>Europan</strong> 6<br />

1 Judith Korpershoek - Jan Richard Kikkert, Amsterdam. Waiting for the urban master plan, which will<br />

incorporate the <strong>Europan</strong> project.<br />

2 Lars Courage - Jan Willem Visscher, Apeldoorn. Waiting for further development of the urban study<br />

they made.<br />

3 Helena Casanova - Jesús Hernández, Groningen. Commissioned by Nijestee for a feasibility study for<br />

housing on the <strong>Europan</strong> site. Already built a three patio villa's for Nijestee, which will be built in 2003.<br />

4 Patrick Meyers - Ilse Castermans - Peter Knaven, Hoogvliet. New European rules about noise pollution<br />

delay the project, which is close to highway A15.<br />

5 Regis Verplaetse - Christopher Burton - Eddy Joaquim, Lelystad. The winning project will not be built.<br />

The municipality sees no possibilities for an alternative commission.<br />

<strong>Europan</strong> 7<br />

1 Giacomo Summa, Amsterdam. With Baukuh collective involved in further development of the site.<br />

2 Jesús Hernández - Helena Casanova, The Hague. The winning project will not be built. The architects<br />

got an alternative commission by the housing corporation.<br />

3 Kurt van Belle - Patricia Medina, Hengelo. Commissioned for the competition project on the original site.<br />

4 Ilse Castermans - Patrick Meyers, Zuidwijk. Waiting for the site to be free for development, the<br />

architects were commissioned for a housing project in the same district.<br />
