In 2000, Max Eastley exhibited six <strong>in</strong>stallations at Sonic Boom at the Hayward<br />

Gallery, London and travelled to Japan to exhibit and perform with David Toop at<br />

ICC Tokyo. He was also a research fellow at Liverpool John Moores Univesity. <strong>The</strong><br />

previous year a permanent sculpture <strong>of</strong> his was <strong>in</strong>stalled at the Devils Glen, Co.<br />

Wicklow, Ireland.<br />

In 2002 he exhibited at the Festival De Arte Sonoro, Mexico City, and was<br />

commissioned by the Siobahn Davies Dance to write music for the dance piece<br />

Plants and Ghosts which toured the UK.<br />

In 2003 he exhibited a large scale sculpture for Art At <strong>The</strong> Centre, Read<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />

collaboration with Sound eng<strong>in</strong>eer Dave Hunt, and performed with Victor Gama at<br />

the ICA London, as part <strong>of</strong> the Atlantic Waves festival <strong>of</strong> Portuguese Music.<br />

His latest collaboration with David Toop: Doll Creature, was released <strong>in</strong> 2004. also<br />

<strong>in</strong> that year he exhibited an <strong>in</strong>stallation <strong>in</strong> Cologne, Germany. In 2005 he exhibited<br />

two <strong>in</strong>stallations <strong>in</strong> Ireland one <strong>in</strong> Dubl<strong>in</strong> and an exterior work <strong>in</strong> Cork as part <strong>of</strong><br />

the European City Of <strong>Culture</strong> celebrations and an <strong>in</strong>stallation <strong>in</strong> Riga, Latvia.<br />

In 2007 He exhibited with Cape Farewell <strong>in</strong> Hamburg, Germany and performed<br />

ARCTIC at the planetarium. His latest work with the duo Spaceheads: A Very Long<br />

Way From Anywhere Else and the album with Mart<strong>in</strong> Bates Songs Of<br />

Transformation were both released <strong>in</strong> May 2007. He also toured <strong>in</strong> a duo with<br />

Thomas Koner and performed solos <strong>in</strong> Rotterdam, Sard<strong>in</strong>ia. He has recently<br />

completed an <strong>in</strong>stallation at the Metropole Gallery Folkestone.<br />
