CHO cells were transduced with a TRIP lentivirus vector express<strong>in</strong>g<br />

human SR-<strong>BI</strong>I. CHO, CHO-SR-<strong>BI</strong> and CHO TRIP SR-<strong>BI</strong>I cells were<br />

evaluated for their ability to b<strong>in</strong>d rabbit anti-SR-<strong>BI</strong> serum (1/500), rabbit<br />

anti-SR-<strong>BI</strong>I serum (1/100) and HCV-1 sE2 (30$g/ml). Anti-SR-<strong>BI</strong> bound<br />

to CHO SR-<strong>BI</strong>/II cells, anti-SR-<strong>BI</strong>I sera bound specifically to CHO TRIP<br />

SR-<strong>BI</strong>I cells. SR-<strong>BI</strong>I confers sE2 b<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g to CHO cells.
