Parental and Huh-7.5 over-express<strong>in</strong>g SR-<strong>BI</strong> were <strong>in</strong>oculated for 1 hr<br />

with wt JFH-1 or virus that had been selected for high extracellular virus<br />

<strong>in</strong>fectivity. <strong>The</strong> <strong>in</strong>fection was allowed to cont<strong>in</strong>ue for 72h, the data is<br />

expressed relative to <strong>in</strong>fection <strong>of</strong> parental Huh-7.5 cells. wt virus<br />

<strong>in</strong>fection is enhanced by ~10 fold whereas adapted JFH-1 <strong>in</strong>fection<br />

<strong>in</strong>creases only ~3 fold. Errors bars represent standard deviation (n=3).
