1056 Large Rookwood Vellum porcelain scenic vase<br />

1923, and further marked shape ''907B'', with marks for soft porcelain and vellum<br />

glaze, and with obscured ''P'' or ''D'' mark, possibly Edward Diers (1896-1931),<br />

decorated overall with a landscape scene of trees along a lake, 17.25'' H x 6.25'' Dia.,<br />

est:$5000/7000. Provenance: Property from a Private Los Angeles Collection<br />

Condition: No crazing evident. With typical light marks and scratches to surface<br />

commensurate with age. Some typical dirt accumulation and some areas of brownish<br />

staining. Bottom with what appears to be a well executed professional filled repair.<br />

Does not fluoresce under black light. Possibly once converted into a lamp.<br />

1057 An Arts & Crafts stained oak bookcase cabinet<br />

Early 20th century, The rectangular top above a pair of glazed paneled doors, with<br />

colored geometric panels to top, enclosing four shelves, on scrolled feet, 57.5'' H x 42''<br />

W x 17'' D, est:$700/1000. Provenance: Property from a Private Los Angeles Collection<br />

Condition: Good coverall condition. Structurally sound. With a nutty brown color to<br />

timber overall. General marks and scratches commensurate with age. Glazing in good<br />

condition. Pull probably replaced. No key.<br />

1058 A Limbert oak slant front bureau 727<br />

Early 20th century, branded ''Limberts / Arts and / Crafts / Furniture / made in /<br />

Grand Rapids / and Holland'', the rectangular three-quarter galleried top above a slant<br />

front opening to a row of pigeonholes centering a drawer over a writing surface, on<br />

square legs with a back foot rest, 40'' H x 34'' W x 29'' D, est:$800/1200. Literature:<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. With a nice nutty brown color to timber. Probably<br />

refinished. Lock plates probably replaced. Lock to drawer replaced. General light marks<br />

and scratches overall.<br />

Early 20th century, with label ''Quaint / Furniture / Stickley Bros Co / Grand<br />

Rapids.Mich'', the square top above two short and one long drawer, on square tapering<br />

legs joined by an H-stretcher, 29.5'' H x 18'' W x 18'' D, est:$600/900. Provenance:<br />

Property from a Private Los Angeles Collection<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. With a nice nutty brown color to timber. Refinished.<br />

General light marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. With some typical<br />

minor ring marks and fading to top. With some small areas of loss to timber and<br />

overpainted restoration, particularly to drawer fronts. Light wear to legs and feet.
