20th century, signed Salmson (Jean Jules Salmson, 1823-1902, French) patinated
bronze figure of a seated scholar on a black marble circular stepped plinth, overall, 31''
H x 15'' Dia., est:$2000/2500
Condition: The bronze: 25.5'' x 13.5'' x 11.5''. With a light coppery brown patina to
surface overall. General marks, scratches and slight rubbing to surface. Light dirt
accumulation. Very minor chipped losses to marble base.
1220 An Austrian cold-painted bronze figural lamp
Early 20th century, stamped ''Austria'', depicting three cobblers in their shop,
electrified, 9.25'' H x 8.25'' W x 6.25'' D, est:$1500/2000
Condition: Good condition overall. General light marks, scratches, rubbing and dirt
accumulation overall. Elements nicely modeled. Good color retention to figures and
structure. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
1221 Continental marble Orientalist nude odalisque
Late 19th century, depicting an odalisque seated on an Empire chaise, on an integral
plinth, 20.5'' H x 9.5'' W x 9.25'' D, est:$1000/1500
Condition: Apparently unsigned. Probably formerly on a further base or with mounts as
two corners of plinth rather roughly cut away. Very nicely carved and modeled. With
typical light marks, scratches and rubbing to surface commensurate with age. Minor
chipped losses to marble at back of hands and around edges, particularly underside of
plinth.

With cross directional and arrowhead repeating decoration, 4'' H x 12'' Dia.,

Condition: Good condition overall. With no evident losses to stitches. Would benefit
from cleaning.

Probably 19th century or earlier, gilt and polychrome-decorated wood and composition,
on an integral plinth, 44'' H x 43'' W x 21'' D, est:$800/1200
Condition: Weathered distressed condition overall. Extensive wear to polychrome
decoration. With shrinkage cracking down center of figures head at side. Losses to
surface overall as visible in catalogue photo. Cracking to elements. We recommend
