1224 A Chinese embroidered blue silk kesi robe dragons<br />

Probably late 19th/20th century, with applied Chinese character tag of typical form,<br />

centrally decorated with dragons amidst floral sprays, lanterns and censers, over<br />

chrysanthemum peppered waves, 54'' H, est:$1000/2000<br />

Condition: With typical wear commensurate with age. Fabric sound and supple. Some<br />

scattered loose stitches and threads overall, most notably to dragon heads on shoulders.<br />

Colors rich and vibrant. Some slight discoloration around collar and to interior fabric<br />

in same area.<br />

1225 A Chinese export Wang Hing silver cocktail shaker<br />

Late 19th/early 20th century, Hong Kong, with Chinese character mark and further<br />

marked ''WH'' and ''90'', of typical form, decorated with bands of bamboo leaves and a<br />

dragon in relief around body, 8'' H x 3'' Dia., 14 oz, est:$700/1000<br />

Condition: Good overall condition. Decoration nicely executed - dragon well detailed.<br />

General light marks, scratches and tarnishing, commensurate with age and use. With a<br />

small ding to lid and a few further minor dings to body.<br />

1226 A Chinese export Wang Hing silver tea service<br />

Late 19th/early 20th century, Hong Kong, with Chinese character mark and further<br />

marked ''WH'' and ''90'', comprising a tipping kettle with stand (10.5'' x 7'' x 8.5''), a<br />

teapot (5'' x 9.5'' x 5.25''), a cream jug (2.75'' x 5.25'' x 4'') and a covered sugar bowl (4''<br />

x 6.5'' x 4''), each of squat rounded form, with bamboo-form handles and spouts,<br />

decorated overall with blooming chrysanthemums, 4 pcs, 70 oz tw. approximately,<br />

est:$2000/3000<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. Nicely made and with well executed decoration.<br />

Bottom of tipping kettle with Chinese character marks only, no other marks on kettle,<br />

stand or burner. General light marks, scratches and tarnishing to surface<br />

commensurate with age and use. Handle to teapot lid slightly loose. With yellowing,<br />

cracking and minor losses to insulator rings on handles. Some polish residue in<br />

crevices. Handle to lid of burner misshapen.<br />

1227 A Sheffield silver plated tureen H. Wilkinson<br />

Probably mid-19th century, with crossed keys marks indicating H. Wilkinson & Co., the<br />

oval domed lid centered by a waved handle, over a conforming body, decorated with<br />

vintage bands, with handles to sides, on ball and claw feet (8 x 15 x 8.5''); together with<br />

an associated two-handled tray marked ''Sheffield / England'', of waved rectangular<br />

form with similar vintage decoration, the tray, 22'' H x 12.75'' W, est:$800/1200.<br />

Provenance: By repute; purchased Peacock's, Chicago circa 1930s; Property from a<br />

Private Collection, Rancho Palos Verdes<br />

Condition: Good overall condition. General marks, scratches and rubbing to surfaces,<br />

commensurate with age and use. Tureen with some spotting and loss of silvering to<br />

interior. Rim of lid slightly waved and misshapen. Some typical tarnishing to surfaces.<br />

1228 A Mexican P. Lopez G sterling punch service<br />

20th century, variously marked ''P Lopez G / Hecho en Mexico'' or ''Made in Mexico<br />

/Sterling 925'' some with eagle mark; comprising a punch bowl (8.75'' x 15.75''), a tray<br />

(18''), eight cups (2.5'' x 4'' x 3.25'') and a ladle (10.5''), 11 pcs, 185 oz tw. approximately,<br />

est:$2000/3000. Provenance: The Elizabeth Darakjian Trust, Glendale, CA<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. General light marks and scratches commensurate<br />

with age and use. With more notable scratches to surface of tray. Tarnishing, spotting<br />

and polish residue in areas.
