1175 A Royal Vienna porcelain charger amorous couple<br />

Late 19th/early 20th century, with blue beehive under-glaze mark and further marked<br />

''Des Meeres und der Liebe Mogen'', depicting an amorous couple in a boat on moonlit<br />

waters, signed ''Forster'', within a gilt and foliate-decorated surround, 14'' Dia.,<br />

est:$1000/1500. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. Decoration nicely executed. General light marks and<br />

scratches commensurate with age - more noticeable on gilt background. Some rubbing<br />

to decoration of edges.<br />

Late 19th/20th century, with blue beehive under-glaze mark and further marked<br />

''Austria'', of typical form with foliate-scrolled handles centering a scene of two<br />

beauties attended by putti admired by suitors, titled ''Maienacht'' (May night), signed<br />

''C. Heer'', on a rectangular base, 20.25'' H x 8.25'' W x 6.25'' D, est:$1500/2000<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. Decoration well executed. Lid does not sit perfectly<br />

evenly on rim of body. Some light rubbing to decoration overall, particularly to<br />

extremities. Foot of body attached to base but does not sit evenly flush in recess of<br />

base.<br />

19th century, depicting a portrait of a woman standing in a pale blue dress, signed<br />

lower right: J. Zasche (1821-1881 Austrian), 16.25'' H x 9'' W, est:$500/1000.<br />

Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. Decoration nicely executed. General light marks and<br />

scratches commensurate with age. A 1/4'' chip along the left center edge (covered by the<br />

frame) and very minor frame abrasion along the edges and in the lower corners.
