Some rubbing to decoration of edges. 1176 A Royal Vienna porcelain covered urn on stand Late 19th/20th century, with blue beehive under-glaze mark and further marked ''Austria'', of typical form with foliate-scrolled handles centering a scene of two beauties attended by putti admired by suitors, titled ''Maienacht'' (May night), signed ''C. Heer'', on a rectangular base, 20.25'' H x 8.25'' W x 6.25'' D, est:$1500/2000 Condition: Good condition overall. Decoration well executed. Lid does not sit perfectly evenly on rim of body. Some light rubbing to decoration overall, particularly to extremities. Foot of body attached to base but does not sit evenly flush in recess of base. 1177 Josef Zasche, oil on faience panel, portrait 19th century, depicting a portrait of a woman standing in a pale blue dress, signed lower right: J. Zasche (1821-1881 Austrian), 16.25'' H x 9'' W, est:$500/1000. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA Condition: Good condition overall. Decoration nicely executed. General light marks and scratches commensurate with age. A 1/4'' chip along the left center edge (covered by the frame) and very minor frame abrasion along the edges and in the lower corners.
1178 A pair of Louis XIV style ormolu torcheres Late 19th/20th century, each candelabrum with a fluted trumpet stem issuing six foliate-sheathed spiral twist candlearms suspending luster chains and grape clusters and drops over a beaded circular base on a circular molded platform above a tapering stem decorated with classical cameos above ribbon-entwined military and musical trophy garlands over a tripartite base ending in acanthus-cast scroll feet, electrified, 4 pcs, 85'' H x 22'' Dia., est:$15,000/20,000. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA Condition: Cast decoration faces same direction on both pedestal bases. Two of the same model, not a true pair. Good condition overall. Very well made and cast. With a good mellow tone to gilding. Typical marks, scratches and rubbing commensurate with age. Elements drilled through center for electricity. Some whitish oxidation to underside of drip pans. Minor chips and losses to glass elements. One with a large replaced drop and some other scattered smaller replacements to glass elements. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use. 1179 Louis XVI style ormolu mounted kingwood vitrine Circa 1900, the molded breakfronted Breche Violette marble top above a conforming outset case with foliate guilloche-cast and floral swag-cast frieze above a central beveled glazed door flanked by a further pair of glazed doors enclosing a pair of glass shelves before a mirrored back, on square tapering legs, 54.5'' H x 52'' W x 13.5'' D, est:$3000/5000. Provenance: Property from a Laguna Niguel Estate Condition: Good condition overall. Very well made. Mounts nicely cast. Structurally sound. General light marks and scratches to surface commensurate with age and use. Mounts somewhat darkened, dirty and rubbed. Some looseness to legs, particularly rear right. No key. 1180 Pair tufted cream silk damask upholstered sofas Modern, each with an arched button-tufted back and downswept sides above a single loose cushion, with rope-twist fringe, 2 pcs, 29'' H x 72'' W x 37'' D, est:$800/1200. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA Condition: Height of seat: 18'', width of seat: 60'', depth of seat: 25''. Very good condition overall. With only light wear to upholstery. In ready to use condition. 1181 A Louis XVI style mahogany & tulipwood regulator Late 19th century, the circular enamel dial with Arabic and Roman chapters within an arched hood mounted with laurel, oak leaf and floral clasps, the movement stamped ''1326'' and with Medaille d'Argent...1889 pastille, over a tapering paneled case with circular aperture above a stepped bracket base, lacking weights and pendulum, 86'' H x 17.5'' W x 11'' D, est:$4000/6000. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA Condition: Apparently unsigned. Generally good overall condition. Light marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Mounts nicely cast and chased. Dial and movement likely associated. Dial with repairs to enamel, most notably to 6 o'clock. Hands probably replaced. Lacking securing pin to hands. Lacking pendulum and weights, as stated. Works apparently complete. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed. No key.
