1013 A French spelter & Rouge Griotte clock garniture<br />
Late 19th century, marked ''Improvisation / par Flora'', comprising a clock and a pair<br />
of vases, the clock with circular enamel dial with Arabic chapters within a stepped case,<br />
surmounted by a female figure in a flowing gown with a harp, the vases of quiver form,<br />
on similar stepped bases, 3 pcs, the clock overall, 36.5'' H x 9.5'' W x 9'' D,<br />
est:$2000/3000. Provenance: The Elizabeth DarakjianTrust, Glendale, CA<br />
Condition: The vases: 19'' x 8'' x 6.5''. General marks and scratches commensurate with<br />
age. Surface of metalwork rubbed and with losses to patina revealing white metal<br />
underneath. Figures right arm with crack to back at joint of shoulder. Appears stable.<br />
Marble with typical minor marks and chips. Movement appears intact. Working<br />
condition unknown and not guaranteed. One winding key.<br />
1014 A Louis XV style painted center table<br />
20th century, the serpentine top centering a scene of Venus and Cupid, above a<br />
conforming shaped frieze decorated with rose sprays, on cabriole legs, 29.5'' H x 24'' W<br />
x 24'' D, est:$600/800<br />
Condition: Structurally sound. With a heavy varnish to surface overall. Painted<br />
decoration decently executed. Craquelure to surface of painted scenes. Mounts roughly<br />
cast. General light marks, nicks and scratches. Very minor nicked losses to timber at<br />
edges.<br />
1015 A pair of Sevres style mounted porcelain vases<br />
Late 19th/20th century, each with central scene of Venus and Cupid signed ''P. Roche''<br />
with floral sprays to reverse, on a cobalt ground with gilt highlights, with curved<br />
handles to sides, 2 pcs, 12.25'' H x 5.25'' W x 4.5'' D, est:$700/900<br />
Condition: Porcelain apparently unmarked. Decoration nicely executed. Good overall<br />
condition. General light marks and scratches to surface commensurate with age and<br />
use. Mounts somewhat rubbed and slightly darkened. One vase slightly loose, threading<br />
would benefit from tightening. Wreath mount to base indistinctly stamped twice on<br />
each to underside, possibly ''Henry'' (?).
