DECLARATION<br />
In the opinion of the Members of the Council of<br />
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine:<br />
1. The fi nancial statements and notes of the College,<br />
as set out on pages 45 to 56, are in accordance with<br />
the Corporations Act 2001, including:<br />
(a) giving a true and fair view of the College’s fi nancial<br />
position as at 30 June <strong>2011</strong> and of the College’s<br />
performance for the year ended on that date; and<br />
(b) complying with Australian Accounting Standards<br />
and Corporations Regulations 2001.<br />
2. At the date of this statement there are reasonable<br />
grounds to believe that the College will be able to pay<br />
its debts as, and when they fall due.<br />
3. The College’s accounts have been properly prepared<br />
by a competent person and, in respect of the year<br />
ended 30 June <strong>2011</strong>, the College has:<br />
(a) kept such accounting records as correctly record<br />
and explain the transactions and fi nancial position<br />
of the College;<br />
(b) kept its accounting records in such manner as<br />
would enable true and fair accounts of the College<br />
to be prepared from time to time; and<br />
(c) kept its accounting records in such a manner as<br />
would enable the accounts of the College to be<br />
conveniently and properly audited in accordance<br />
with the Corporations Law.<br />
