Interface element Description<br />

Create schema holder delta df Select this check box if you want the<br />

utility to generate a .df file that includes<br />

the incremental schema in<strong>for</strong>mation. You<br />

can then load this .df file into the schema<br />

holder. By default, this check box is<br />

checked.<br />

Use Unicode Types Maps character fields to Unicode data<br />

types. Only applies if schema image’s<br />

code page is UTF-8.<br />

Use revised sequence generator Select to enable revised generator and to<br />

prevent lock timeouts. Leave unchecked<br />

to retain older sequence generator,<br />

particularly if SET-VALUE sequence<br />

statement is used extensively in your<br />

program.<br />

Map to MSS Datetime Type Checked by default. Uncheck box to map<br />

to datetime data types with time zone<br />

components. For details, see “<strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong><br />

<strong>for</strong> MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> support <strong>for</strong> datetime<br />

data types” section on page 2–21.<br />

Expand width (utf-8) Doubles the size of character fields based<br />

on specified field width criteria.<br />
