As part of the <strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong> product, Progress Software Corporation provides you with the ability<br />

to create demonstration data that you can use to experiment with the <strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong>. Note that you<br />

do not install the demonstration databases as part of the <strong>OpenEdge</strong> Installation media. Instead,<br />

you create them by running the <strong>OpenEdge</strong> DB to MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> utility, which migrates the<br />

Sports database—objects and data—to your MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> data source. For instructions, see<br />

the “Demonstration databases <strong>for</strong> <strong>Data</strong><strong>Server</strong> <strong>for</strong> MS <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong>” section on page 7–2.
