5.3 The Quality Assessment Tool<br />

Once the feasibility study has been completed, as task manager you<br />

will receive a Feasibility study Report and a draft Financing Proposal.<br />

In accordance with your role as process manager rather than fieldlevel<br />

planner, you require tools that will help you ensure the quality of<br />

these documents, and in particular of the Financing Proposal as this<br />

will provide the basis for the financing decision.<br />

By this stage in project design, the proposal will be in logframe<br />

format, and it will not be necessary to repeat the process of<br />

deconstructing and reconstructing the project design. Instead, the<br />

Quality Assessment Tool offers a checklist approach that breaks down<br />

the key concepts of relevance, feasibility and sustainability into<br />
