Cecil House ’83 is Senior Vice President
of Operations Support and Chief Procurement
Officer, as well as the Senior Vice
President of Safety, for edison International
and its electric utility subsidiary,
Southern California edison. Before joining
edison in April 2006, house served
as Vice President of Customer Operations
for Public Service electric & Gas
Company (PSeG), New Jersey’s largest
electric and gas utility. Previously, he was
PSeG’s Vice President of Supply Chain
Management; Vice President of Business
Development at
Automatic Data
Processing Inc.;
and a Partner
in the law firm
of McDermott,
Will & emery in
New York. he is
a member of the
New York and
Virginia bars and is a certified purchasing
manager. In addition to his B.S. degree
from the McIntire School, house has a
J.D. from harvard Law School and an
M.B.A. from Columbia University. he
and his family live in Los Angeles.
Thomas J. Baltimore Jr. ’85 (Darden
’91) has been appointed to the board of
directors of Integra LifeSciences holdings
Corporation. Baltimore is Co-Founder
and President of RLJ Development LLC,
a privately held real estate investment
company he founded with Robert L.
Johnson in 2000.
Stephen R. Scorgie ’85 (Darden ’91) was
appointed to Manchester Inc.’s board of
directors, effective March 19, 2007. Mr.
Scorgie is the Managing Director of The
Carlton Group, where he is responsible
for finding and selling subperforming
and nonperforming debt from financial
institutions throughout the United States
through an extensive network of secondary
market players. Before joining The Carlton
Group, he was the Director of Portfolio
Finance Business Development for Ocwen
Financial Corp./Berkeley Federal Bank &
Trust. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Scorgie was
the Project Controller for Air Products
and Chemicals Inc.
Robert D. Kipps ’89 is Managing Director
of KippsDeSanto & Co., an investment
banking firm that he co-founded in May
2007 and that is based outside Washington,
D.C. KippsDeSanto & Co. is focused
on providing M&A, private financing,
and strategic consulting to leading middle
market and growth-oriented companies in
the information technology, defense, communications,
and government contracting
sectors. Kipps and his fellow Co-Founder,
Kevin DeSanto, are leveraging their 20+
years of investment banking and M&A
