Donny Wyatt ’99 (M.S. in MIT ’04) recently
had a column published in Builder/
Architect magazine detailing a simple
requirements, evaluation, and implementation
process that residential homebuilders
can use in selecting technology for client
communication. Donny’s involvement
with homebuilders started in 2005, when
he founded Co-construct.com, an online
portal used by custom builders to reduce
miscommunication with clients on mid- to
high-end homes.
2002
Jim Bayer (M.S. in MIT ’02) and his family
headed to Belgrade, Serbia, in September
2007, where Bayer is the Information
Programs Officer at the U.S. embassy. The
Bayers recently left their previous post
in Riga, Latvia, and enjoyed some time
traveling in the United States before going
back overseas.
Mike Bucci (Darden ’96, M.S. in MIT ’02)
recently left Capital One Financial after
nine years to start his own business that
has launched a new product in the home

improvement market. The product, the
Painters Pyramid (http://www.painters
pyramid.com), is a durable, versatile tool
that allows users to save time and effort by
painting an entire object (top, bottom, and
sides) without waiting for the paint to dry
and without sacrificing quality. Says Bucci,
“Getting this business going required
establishing a corporation, filing for appropriate
patent and trademark protection,
as well as product development, offshore
sourcing, and extensive marketing efforts.”
Heather Mills ’02 and co-workers left
the University of Connecticut to found
Pulsar Research & Consulting LLC, a
full-service custom survey research and
consulting firm based in Vernon, Conn. As
Pulsar’s Research Director, heather has
conducted research that has appeared on
the cover of TIME magazine. her clients
range from one of the world’s largest
banks to small not-for-profit foundations.
heather and Scott Mitchell celebrated
their one-year wedding anniversary in
September 2007. The couple resides in
enfield, Conn.

’02 and her husband,
Portman
Wills (A&S ’02),
welcomed their
daughter, harper
London, born Jan.
2, 2007. harper is
Dean Carl Zeithaml’s first grandchild.

Joanna Winston Bergeron (A&S ’98,
M.S. in MIT ’03) has been promoted to
Managing Director at CapTech Ventures.
Chris Paulk ’03 and Bryanna Biery
(A&S ’03) were married Oct. 21, 2006.
After completing her Teach for America
commitment, Bryee stayed on as a Literacy
Coach in Washington heights, New York
City. Chris is a Merchant with Tommy
hilfiger. The couple resides in New York
City.
