Judy Johnson (M.S. in MIT ’04) passed
the Project Management Professional
certification exam in December 2006.
Rakesh Radhakrishnan (M.S. in MIT
’04), a Lead Architect at Sun Microsystems,
recently released a book titled
Identity and Security—A Common Architecture
and Framework for SOA and Network

Brandon Walsh (M.S. in MIT ’04)
announces the launch of his new company,
hosted Wine Tasting LLC (http://www.
hostedwinetasting.com), which
currently services the DC Metro/NOVA
area. Walsh says he was inspired to start
an organization that provides a private,
educational, fun, and elegant wine tasting
experience after attending several disappointing
wine tastings.

Rob Cimperman (M.S. in MIT ’05),
along with David Bergert (M.S. in MIT
’05) and Lisa Kane Gardner ’97 (M.S. in
MIT ’06), are team members of Pivotal

management strategies and expert consulting
services for the U.S. government, has
successfully acquired Monroe Defense
Industry Consulting Inc., including all of
its professional consulting staff and several
multiyear contracts with large federal
government organizations such as the U.S.
Navy, the U.S. Department of homeland
Security, and Dimension International.

delivery service, was interviewed in May
2007 during hurricane Preparedness
Week by WTXL News-ABC 27, in

Analyst position on the Asset Trading

Ryan Johnson ’06 is a Commercial Real
estate Analyst with CIT Group, in New
York City.
Michael A. King (M.S. in MIT ’06) was
accepted into the Business Information
Technology Ph.D. program at Virginia
Tech’s Pamplin School of Business for fall
2007 enrollment.
2007
Sean Mahard ’07, an ROTC student
while he attended the University, traveled
to the White house in May 2007, where
Secretary of Defense Robert Gates commissioned
him and 54 other ROTC cadets
and midshipmen as officers.
